Meet-up sparks ideas for … more meet-ups!
It was a small gathering—maybe intimate is a better word—at Decarli’s Restaurant in Beaverton, OR, on March 6. But what it may have lacked in numbers it more than made up for in lively discussions about all things PNSQC.
Organized by super volunteer Dwayne Thomas, the meet-up was our group’s first of the new conference season. Board members, volunteers, staffer Terri Moore and the To the Point crew comprised the crowd. Conversations covered such topics as potential abstract topics, how to encourage more folks to submit abstracts, and how to host meet-ups that attract larger crowds. ...
