Transforming your enterprise to an Agile SDLC can be an arduous journey.
Transitioning any large organization to a new state is a multifaceted problem, one that takes thought and planning to ensure the desired intent is achieved in a manner that minimizes disruptions to business operations and increases the probability of success. Whether the desired approach is incremental or a sea change, understanding the “capacity to execute” is crucial when evaluating the organizations ability achieve the desired goal. By assessing the capacity of the existing organization, it is possible to determine best how to strategically and systematically plan to move the organization to an Agile framework.
In this paper we’ll discuss the assessment of an organization’s “capacity to execute” and how to develop a strategy that can move an organization to a new SDLC paradigm. Using real-world business cases, we’ll discuss a practical approach to transforming an enterprise to an Agile framework while minimizing the negative impact on business operations.
