GitLab
Chris Cowell is a Portland-based technical trainer for GitLab. He was a developer and test automator for 20 years (Accenture, Oracle, Puppet, Jive, Cambia), before figuring out that he likes people better than computers. He believes the industry should pay more attention to usability and human-focused design, and less attention to the number of features delivered.
When not figuring out how to explain technology to people, he likes exploring foreign cities with Google Street View, reading and watching mysteries, and losing to his sons in chess.
