With teams working remotely, everyone quickly setting up at-home work stations, and struggling with work-life balance in the middle of a deadly pandemic, we could all use a break.
Join us October 11-13 to reconnect with your team, watch some inspiring and informative presentations, and access it live — plus have it available on-demand, so you can pause it, review it again, and learn how to implement software quality tips, tricks, and techniques for your own projects.
Here are just some of the reasons why you and your team should attend PNSQC 2021.
Value
This year, the conference is going fully digital. Without a physical venue, we’re able to keep overhead costs low and can pass on the savings to attendees.
This means 4 keynote presentations, two full days of technical presentations, plus a day of workshops for the all-inclusive Early Bird price of $459. We’ll also have a virtual exhibition hall, with companies sharing tools and services that will help you do your job better.
Sending an entire team to a conference usually takes thousands of dollars from a training budget, but now can be had for significantly less. Instead of picking and choosing who can attend, all can. This allows for everyone to weigh in on new approaches to problem-solving, implementation, and trying new tools. The shared experience lets teams reconnect, brainstorm, and step away from the day-to-day and gain a new perspective on the big picture and future of a project.
Access
Going digital also means everything will be recorded. Every presentation, Q&A session, and workshop. If you can’t watch the full conference live — because, life— or there are two presentations at the same time that you’re interested in, now you can review them both. Plus, technical papers diving deeper into topics will also be available to read. Taking a full day (or three) away from the job and home responsibilities aren’t always possible, so we want to make all the content from PNSQC available for attendees to access at any time.
Networking
Though we won’t be meeting in person this year, you’ll still have the opportunity to connect with fellow attendees. “Hallway tracks” are usually a favorite, but we’re making sure attendees can still have a camaraderie while staying safe. In addition to a chat feature for each presentation, we’re creating a forum for people to discuss different topics, from AI and automation to accessibility, data, devops, and security.
As with in-person discussions, everything online related to PNSQC will fall under our Code of Conduct, and we expect things to be kept fully professional.
Inspiration
This year’s conference theme, “Quality Coming Together,” considers the future to see where software quality processes and methods will be in the next few years, and even decades.
Presenters work in the industry, are steering the direction of testing and software quality, sharing their trials and triumphs, and are mapping out case studies so people can learn from their successes and failures.
They’re not trying to sell you products or services; they’re just trying to help you with yours.
Education & Career Advancement
What’s been holding you back? Now is time to learn a new skill, try out a new tool, plan a new feature, chart your security enhancements, prepare integration protocols, layout an enterprise strategy, and more. Make yourself invaluable to your team, and your team invaluable to your company.
PNSQC was founded in 1982 with the express purpose of improving software quality. Nearly 40 years later, PNSQC is still going strong, adapting to changing trends and technologies, and still producing important presentations by innovative speakers who set standards for software, team, and product quality.
Be sure not to miss PNSQC this year, by registering now. Our Early Bird rate ends Monday, September 6, 2021.
