IT spending in 2019 is estimated to be $2.8 trillion worldwide, and the vertical industries with the largest IT spending include (in decreasing order): banking & securities, manufacturing & natural resources, communications & media services, government, insurance, retail, utilities, transportation, healthcare, and education.
PNSQC 2019 organizers recognize that large enterprises in all vertical industries face unique challenges in managing software quality in increasingly Agile environments. To maximize the diffusion of knowledge and the sharing of ideas, an Enterprise IT Quality Forum will be added to the PNSQC technical program. The Forum will be based on facilitated discussions on four topics to be selected with your help. Each topic will be allocated for 40 minutes.
In facilitated discussions, participants identify key problems within a topic selected and discuss solution strategies and tactics. A facilitator guides the group discussion to assure focus on the shared context of enterprise IT. The advantage of facilitated discussions includes improved meeting outcome and efficiency, enabling greater benefit for the time spent. Participants will take home new ideas and meet new colleagues.
The Forum represents an evolution of our traditional PNSQC format. It is an excellent value for our colleagues that work in or with large enterprises.
