Information Security has emerged as an important focus area of Enterprise IT Quality. Yet, despite the focus, every year brings news of massive security breaches. Some of the major security breaches of 2019 include:
- Quest Diagnostics (12 million records)
- Capital One (106 million)
- Facebook (540 million)
- First American (885 million)
Where is the intersection between security and quality? A secure system means that data and systems will be protected from unauthorized access. Quality means that the system is promised to work according to design and purpose. Does security merely intersect with quality or is it a subset of quality?
To find out, watch the webinar Information Security: Practices & Trends in Agile Enterprises with security experts John Cvetko, CISSP, PMP, ZCEA, Brian Myers, Ph.D., CISSP, and Dima Itkis, MS ETM/MBA, CISSP, moderated by Ying Ki Kwong, Ph.D., PMP.
Join this panel of speakers as they explore some of the big questions of security:
- Why are there so many breaches and how do we reduce the risks?
- What is the right balance between security and functionality?
- What is the “next big thing” in security?
- Are frequent software releases in Agile and DevOps responsible for security problems?
- And other questions from the audience.
This webinar is a warm-up for PNSQC 2019, where exciting talks, facilitated discussions, and networking opportunities await our attendees.
