I was at the STP (Software Test Professional) Conference this past spring speaking on Mobile User Experience and had the privilege of meeting Jon Duncan Hagar and Jean Ann Harrison, who also spoke on mobile testing.
Part of their talk was on viewing the testing of mobile devices as a subset of testing embedded software. And with that point of view, they presented a mix of testing techniques that focused on embedded software.
Jon’s got a book coming out very soon, entitled “Software Test Attacks to Break Mobile and Embedded Devices” and it should be out in time for this year’s PNSQC.
