Test engineers mostly rely on test automation tools to find and prevent bugs from escaping to production, but there is a much wider spectrum of tools that can help us to improve quality (and find bugs). In this presentation, Iryna will share how to use a variety of tools other than your standard ‘automation’ toolset.
She’ll show how to use monitoring tools as a nice addition to performance and load test tools and how they can help you to catch bugs before customers spot them in the new releases. For those interested in code, tune in as she demonstrates why you should use linters and other static code analysis tools to prevent issues in code.
She’ll also discuss log management systems, and what is hidden behind those warnings in logs, why they are must-have tools, and what to do if you don’t have one.
Lastly, she’ll talk about improving accessibility using screen readers. That’s just a few? Come learn how these and other tools can become QA little helpers.
