ShiftWise
Phyllis Thompson has worked in many areas of commercial software product development and internal IT, including tech support, project management, technical writing, courseware development, training delivery, usability, and agile processes. She managed the project management group and PMO (project management office) at Serena Software from 2004 – 2009. In 2005, after “bottom-up” pressure to adopt Scrum, Serena developed an “Agile PLC” based on Scrum, and in 2008 the Serena Agile PLC was further enhanced and rolled out to the entire organization. Serena developed an agile project management tool that all project teams used pre-release and helped bring to market. Since then Phyllis has worked as a Scrum Master at CoreLogic and Scrum Master/Agile Process Coach at ShiftWise, where she has been responsible for the company’s agile adoption since 2012.
