Mazamas
Sarah Bradham is the Director of Marketing & Communications at the Mazamas, a 120-year old mountaineering education organization based in Portland, Ore. The Mazamas was formed on the summit of 11,242 ft. Mt. Hood in 1894, and has a storied history of training mountaineers and hikers, protecting our public lands, working to educate the next generation of outdoors people. Sarah took the Mazamas Basic Climbing Education Program in 2002 and got the mountaineering bug.
A few of Sarah’s summits include Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, Mt. Rainier, and Mt. Baker. In addition, she helped teach the Mazamas Mountaineering First Aid for a number of years, was a Mazama Climb Leader, and went on to coordinate the Basic Climbing Education Program. In her spare time, she enjoys running long distances and volunteering for Girls on the Run of Portland Metro and the Oregon Humane Society.
