Dr. Tafline Ramos is Director of Quality Engineering (QE) & Quality Assurance (QA) at Planit, where she leads the direction and uplift of capability, assets, training, and client delivery in QE, QA, and Testing. Tafline specializes in lifecycle optimization, test management, test design practices, QA audits, training, and mentoring.
Tafline is co-editor of the ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119 Software Testing series of standards, secretary of the ISO software testing working group, and Head of the Australian Delegation for the Software & Systems Engineering Committee at ISO. Tafline also chaired the ISO study group on DevOps & Agile, was instrumental in the establishment of the new ISO DevOps and Agile working group, and contributed to the new IEEE 2675 DevOps standard. Tafline holds a Ph.D. in software testing and has over 20 years’ experience in IT, including over 17 years as a QE specialist.
Tafline has presented at national and international conferences on software testing, volunteered on the Australian Computer Society’s Diversity Committee, and is a previous recipient of the Women in Technology’s Professional Award, in recognition of her leadership in IT. Tafline is passionate about mentoring others in understanding concepts that enable them to deliver greater quality and success to their projects and their careers.
